So, have you seen the trailer of the game yet? Here’s the ‘English’ trailer of the much anticipated Final Fantasy FXII coming out real soon (just kidding!) for the PS2. British voice overs, cool!!

Apparently, Silent Hill is not coming out in our local cinemas anytime soon meaning I won’t be able to see it. I’m shocked because Malaysians love horror movies. If they can afford to show crappy Korean & Japanese horror movies, why not Silent Hill?

Anyway, Kotaku made a review about it:
“I just got back from watching Silent Hill and I was quite OK with it. I think if I had to give the movie a grade it would probably land in the C+ to B- range. ” - Full review

Well to me, C+ to B- isn’t good. Looks like Silent Hill still can’t break the curse of Sucky Video Games Movies.

Okay, first of all, I must admit that I hate movies that are adapted from video games. So far, I can’t think of any good ones. So, when I heard that they are gonna make a movie out of Silent Hill, I doubt it will be any good. From the trailer, it seems like the story is pretty much the same like the first Silent Hill game for the PlayStation except that the main character is not a guy anymore. I wonder why they make that change? What’s wrong with father looking for his missing daughter? Well, I like Silent Hill myself and I really hope this movie will meet up to my expectations. Let’s just hope it won’t suck like the others. Check out the trailer

I haven’t seen this one before, totally out of this world! One of the weirdest endings I’ve seen. The ending theme is really catchy, you might want to use it as your mobile phone’s ring tone.

I’m always a big fan of the Final Fantasy series and I’ve been following the series since FFVI. I don’t know whether it’s due to the absence of Hironobu Sakaguchi & Nobuo Uematsu or not, but the last installment of Final Fantasy, FFX-2 is really disappointing. So, I really hope that the upcoming FF which is the 12th installment would be able to redeem its reputation.

In case you haven’t know, the Japanese version of FFXII has been released recently and it seems that the game received a lot of criticisms from most gamers. Now, Tim Rogers from Next-Generation has written an article defending them.

Here are some of the criticisms made:

Criticism 1: “Difficulty is too high”
Criticism 2: “The game rips off of Star Wars”
Criticism 3: “The music stinks”
Criticism 4: “This isn’t Final Fantasy… it’s just a brand now”

, Final Fantasy XII has got a perfect 40/40 score ! Therefore, it has now become the fifth game to get a perfect score throughout Famitsu’s history.

This must be the coolest drink in town, behold, the Final Fantasy XII Potion energy drink from Suntory (A beverage company in Japan). The Potion is a “mystical” brew of herbs and nutritional supplements said to relax and energize its drinker. The drink is actually in blue color (reminds me of Pepsi Blue) and it comes in various designed bottles. Check out the commercial:
