First 4 Figures is proud to announce a three-year licensing agreement with Nintendo for the rights to create statues based on The Legend of Zelda franchise, including characters from the hotly-anticipated The Legend of Zelda®: Twilight Princess.

“We are very excited to be working with Nintendo on the Legend of Zelda brand. The franchise has clearly stood the test of time, having just celebrated its 20th Anniversary.

The first game captured the imagination of a generation, with the following games capturing the imagination of another and then another. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess looks all set to do the same,” says Alex Davis, director of First 4 Figures. “We will be mainly concentrating on doing statues based on the games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.”

Okay, I’m jealous, I want this figurine too. Someone posted this picture at Flickr. Apparently, this bobblehead figurine of Link is given to Nintendo’s employees. Wow! These collection of Zelda Wind Waker papercrafts / paper models are awesome! Unfortunately, we don’t have them.
Well, these paper models (from Chokipeta.jp) were published in some issues of a Japanese Gamecube Magazine a few years ago. Therefore, it’s impossible to get them now. If you have these, do share them with us! I’m sure there are many Zelda fans out there that are searching for these babies.

Hey, Barbie has got a new boyfriend, Link! Princess Zelda will be very jealous because of this. Haha, just kidding, here is a cool homemade doll of Link from the Legend of Zelda.

“This began as a standard Luts Kid Delf boy doll with the Ttory “Elf” head. The body has been sanded but not blushed.

I reshaped the eyes, mouth, and chin, and applied a face-up using artist quality acrylics and washes. The ears were half-pierced, and earrings added. The head has been sealed with Mr. Super Clear Matte, and 16mm Cobalt glass eyes have been installed.

With the exception of the boots and the blade of the sword, the outfit is entirely hand made or modified. ” - [Source]
