A brilliant artwork, “The Hero’s Lineage” by Aremke of DeviantArt. According to the author, this is like a wakeup call to most Zelda fans. Are you guys aware that the Link and Zelda from each consecutive game aren’t necessarily the same people? The Wind Waker made this blatantly obvious, but people seem to be completely oblivious to this regarding the other games.

This is what he quoted, “The setting here is in the final days of the legend. I did the sky orange to try to keep true to the atmosphere depicted in the game artwork, which was always very dark. Basically, by now, Hyrule’s become desolate and overrun with monsters from centuries of Ganon’s repeated attacks, not to mention whatever natural disasters occurred aside from flooding. This Link is the last of a legacy- the last knight of Hyrule.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Okay, maybe I’m a little bit late, sorry about that. Just found out that X-Entertainment did a feature on some old Valentines Day Cards which include Mario, Zelda, the California Raisins and Ninja Turtles.
