Ilias theme puts me to sleep lol but its a great piece one of my favorites .. the overworld theme is simply amazing. first few seconds in the beggining n ocarina of time came to mind. cupl more seconds of listening n masterpiece came to mind. the music in this games gonna be top notch n i cant wait for its release

I absolutely love this game. I’ve been playing for well over thirty hours now, and from what I can tell, I”m not even halfway through the game. Combined with the dramatic battles (Horseback fight on a bridge? Can’t beat that), perfect music, and outright size of the world, and you’ve got a great game.

Yes!! Zelda Twilight Princess has moved up on my list of best games produced by nintendo. If you happen to get the gamecube version instead of the wii, the only difference between the two is that the gamecube version is mirrored. That means that everything is on the opposite side than in the wii version. That’s the only difference, so whoever says the gamecube version suck ignore them!!

i ended my zelda game yesterday… the end is FREEKING AMAZING!!! finaly a “sword on sword” battle with link and..” you-know-who”. great. specialy the fight with the dark beast… it makes me think of gannon in “a link to the past”

Sadly i still say Majora’s Mask is the best zelda game followed by a link to the past. this game shortly falls third and knocks OoT into fourth for me. (TWW in 5th).

it was fun and all but i think they should have put more evil into the game. the story lacks “aww” in it but besides that it’s a beautiful game.

hi i got the game with a wii for christmas and on my list it is tied with OoT. The graphics are obviously way better but the music from OoT can’t be beaten for any zelda game. The storyline in TP goes all over and i like the many twists. I’m trying not to be a complete loser (no offense) and not play it non-stop, and i am currently waiting for the tv (my sister stole it) so i can beat the boss in the temple of time. Oh yeah, about the bosses, they are DEFINETLY harder and better thought out than OoT, and my favorites so far are the boss in the lakebed temple and the miniboss in the temple of time. wait, YES the tvs free gotta go bye

Did you already beat those yet? (I like replaying old Zelda games over and over again to get swept up by the funny and emotional storylines, thus, Twilight Princess has proven to be an absolutely flawless masterpiece, but I must say that it doesn’t exhibit as much of side humor, or drama as Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask does, which disapoints me because every potential drag-raced alongside the release of this game is exquisite, especially the non-disapointment of the very Zelda-like music, even old favorites are brought back to life in new and interesting ways, such as, Saria’s Song, Song of Time, Zelda’s Lullaby, Song of Healing, Bolero of Fire, and various others I’m sure I’ve left unmentioned).

I just beat the earth temple it was easy and yes I’m serious about my age. In the wind waker i have 17 heart container 42 treasure charts 6 pieces of the triforce and 3 heart pieces. I beat TP twice now… The first time only took me about 30-35 hours spanned over three days. then i went back and played it a second time through. i still havent got all the poes yet, one missing, and ive looked at all 60 locations a mil times over. i cant find the little bugger! anyway, i dont think link and zelda should get together. but i think TP is the best zelda game yet, we got to see romantic conflicts and the slow bond between he and midna was great. they are the ones that should hook up. glad tingle was absent. loved midna, i want her in the next game for gamecube/wii…. but i’ll admit i didnt get the wii version basically because i dont think i could stand playing a right-handed link. Link is a lefty, and though i understand the reason for the switch, i still cant get over it. It’s something that grew in me from the first zelda game i played. Link will always be a lefty. If they ever make a zelda movie, it should be this one adapted. it could be done, just no Orlando Bloom please…. not as Link…. Uck

Anyway, I loved the tunes up there. they were awesome. i liked the Ilia theme and the overworld theme. I’m keeping tabs on when the soundtrack is available for this one. I have OoT’s soundtrack, but I want this one’s. I like how the Serenade of Water was redone for Queen Rutela, and has to be one of my fav tunes in the game. Serenade was my favorite ocarina song in OoT. That and the Berleo (sp?) of Fire and the Requiem of Spirit. The theme to the Temple of Time is also fantastic and the Chamber of sages theme, and i have those on my OoT soundtrack, so for the moment i am satisfied. My fav dungeon and boss in TP was Arbiter’s Grounds the Twilit Fossil was AWESOME! and a dragon in this one! totally cool! About time! Volvagia was great, but this Dragon is cooler. Not much of a fight though. Too easy, but my nephew got a real kick out of it! He loves zelda and dragons, from my influence, and he’s only 4! He loved taking link fishing in Ordon. he sat for hours doing that.

SPOLIER WARNING AFTER THIS—DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT BEATEN IT

All through this game, i was like, Ok, where will Ganon pop in, you know he will. You just cant kill the guy. But in this one, i kind of felt for him. All that pain he went through. you can see why the guy is so gosh darn evil. when link plunges the sword in him at the end and after he’s done with the whole “this isnt the end” routine, and his face went blank, like sad like, i was kind of feeling sad for the guy. And after i got through the Dark Beast phase, I was like, that cant be it. and the thought crossed my mind that–while i was playing the wolf in the battle–you never get to use Epona for any boss battles–I’m not counting saving Colin here. And then the horseback fight commences and i was in heaven! Four stages of Ganon? Get outta here! AWESOME! Zant was pretty cool too, but easy, again. The most fun i had with fighting Ganon was here and Windwaker. Morpheel was pretty cool too. When i went in on the first stage and the tentacles started popping out, i was like ok this is like the same as OoT with the water temple. then that phase was over and it turned into an eel! How cool is that, man! The dungeon wasnt as fricken crazt as OoT, but almost.. Jeez, what is it with water? It certainly has a rep in zelda games. and if im not mistaken that Warrior guy that teaches all the moves… Did he imply that he was a Hero that failed in his time? I cant remember. but i think he said something like that during a session. do any of you remember? anyhoo, Twilight Princess was awesome! better than OoT and clearly beating out Windwaker. All the sailing and changing the wind got annoying to me. but cool ending fight with Ganon, once again. but i was a little surprised that there was only one phase, no beast version. Oh well, TP certainly fed my appetite for awesome fights with him. Later guys!

Out of the many games in the zelda series, I have only played, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Link’s Adenture, Link’s Awakening, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, Windwaker, Twilight Princess. Of these I have beaten them all save for The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Link’s Adventure, and Oracle of Seasons. I almost got done with OoS, but my brother took the colour gameboy, so I cant play it anymore. I dont remember a whole lot from Links Awakening and A Link to the Past, but, hey, i beat em. Oh well. If you guys need help with TP, let me know. I never died in the game once. In either round I played it. I made sure that I had soup, or fairies. Unlike Ocarina, where i died a few good times. Anyhoo, get stuck, let me know. I know my way around.

yes, i agree, ive waited a long time to have a one on one with Ganon, and TP was much better than how it was in Windwaker, thats for sure, but i LOVED the chance to go at a boss with Epona.

By the way, what is your take on how Link became an orpan? Who do you think his parents were? In OoT it is said they were killed in the Wars before Hyrule was united… His mum came to the Deku tree and all, but I mean… nothings said about his dad. and who is his mum? What’d'you think?

i think that ocarina of time has a better stotyline. I think Impa is better. I think Queen Ruterla is the best. I think the kokiri are better even though the Koroks are kinda cute. I think the Great deku Tree in ocarina of time is better. I think Ganondors physique in twilight princess is the best. My favorite sage is probably Princess Zelda.

Ritos annoyed me a little, and i have always found the zora people and culture fascinating. never played minish cap, but i absolutely hated the oocca, so i’ll say wind tribe even though i dont know what they are… because anything could be better than the oocca. i would have liked to see the gerudo race in twilight princess as they were my fav in ocarina, that and more on the sheikah, i wasnt satisfied with how little they were in it with just a broken down villiage with only impaz. i think twilight princess is the best yet, then ocarina. and best female character? hmm. i like the princesses Ruto, Zelda, and Midna, but i dont think i could pick a favorite out of those three. i really liked Nabooru too and the Impa shown in OoT. and i like Telma’s personality.

whats your take on your own questions?

for mine:
1 - both storylines were equally great/both had great varieties of characters
2 - Impa hands down

well I hated the lakebed temple why do they always have to make the water temples so hard. I liked defeating the lakebed temple boss the city in the sky boss and ganondorf. I say the best male character is Link. Yes I think teh kokiri forest should have been added> I also think that the kokiri are in the game but they are just in hiding they are probably somewhere deeper in the lost woods its probably uncharted same with the gerudo they probably are still around but in hiding. i would rate TP 9.9 My favorite item is the master sword and the ball and chain. Hey you know whats funny when you are fighting dark lord ganondorf you can distract him with the fishing rod. Iv always wondered whats beyond Hyrule especially in TP and a link to the past and whats beyond the great sea in the wind waker and whats beyond the sea of Termina? Also if ganondorf died in TP why did hyrule get flooded? Maybe inbetween tP and the wind waker ganondorf somehow revived himself and link didn’t appear. Well bye

ah, but DOES ganondorf die? all we see is zant’s neck snapping, and ganon’s eyes going white. he’s still standing up when the camera switches off him so we dont know what link and zelda and midna did with the body. with zant’s neck snapping - “whether this is symbolic or an actual vision of his death is unclear, as is whether or not this was suicide” (wikipedia) [as i said, im researching, so im learning all these theories] But, in my opinion somethings up. Something wasnt right. Yes, it appears as though he’s died, but all we Zelda fans have seen this routine before.

Wow…some of you guys are crazy, beating the entire game in three days. I ended up taking about three months to actual beat the game (mostly because my little bro played it like an obsessed freak…who, by the way, beat the entire game, poe souls and heart containers and all, in 60 or so hours…at 10 years old. Jeez.). But…I think I beat it in 42 hours? (I’m sixteen…but I really don’t think age counts in playing video games…) And now my older brother is near the Lakebed temple with 9 hours…and a lot of help and hints from my little bro and I. XD

This game is so cool, I love it. It did as good as the legend of zelda orcarina of time (the graphics are really good)

I haven’t played my twilight princess game and my wind waker game for over three months now because my friend is borrowing them. Aghhhhhhh I want them back, and I’m almost completely done with my wind waker game. My favorite songs are the ganondorf final battle theme theme, overworld theme, Hyrule Castle theme, and the midna theme.

Am I the only one that remembers that this discussion is on the twilight princess soundtrack?
I’ll ask again:
WHO WANTS IT?!?!?!?!?

P.S.
I’ve just obtained the Japanese version of the soundtrack (127 tracks) if you guys are interested in a once in a lifetime offer for either-or American soundtrack, or Japanese i can deliver them via E-mail (Though I’m afraid the Japanese one will be in WMA format of which has just as much quality as an mp3.)

I have the soundtrack that came with the sword & shield replica. I have to say it is great, but it only has like 6 songs! I want to get the complete soundtrack! all the music is amazing, and i want it all! I have those six and the OOT one too…
